July 2 - Summer Concerts at the Farm: Skyla Burrell Blues Band - Adams County Winery, 251 Peach Tree Rd., Orrtanna, PA 17353, 717-334-4631. Our free summer concerts are better than ever this year! We have a great lineup and have plenty of fun activities planned for the whole family. Also, Uncle Moe's Soul Food will be at every concert! 1:00 - 5:00 pm. July 4 - Independence Day July 6 - Wednesday's Market - Gettysburg Rec Park, 545 Long Lane, Gettysburg, PA 17325. Conveniently located to area neighborhoods and the Gettysburg Hospital is the 52 acre Gettysburg Recreation Park. Humming with activity, from walking the Biser one mile fitness trail to catching a softball game or just a summer time stroll. The market will be located in close proximity to the main Rec Park building. EBT and Debit services will be provided. In season, fruit, berries, produce, beef, pork, chicken, flowers, plants and bakery items. 2:30 - 7:00 pm. July 6 - Historic Church Walking Tours, downtown Gettysburg, PA. 717-337-0733. Advance notice is required. No visit to Gettysburg is complete without a visit to some of the historic churches in the town. Some of these churches served as hospitals during the conflict, some were built as memorials to the Battle, and others played a role in the everyday life of the citizens of the time. History comes alive in these churches - four of which were built prior to the Civil War and are still utilized today. July 7 - 10 - Motorcycle Madness at the Wax Museum - American Civil War Museum, 297 Steinwher Ave., Gettysburg, PA 17325, 717-334-6245. This event is free and open to the public. Vendors will be set up on the grounds of the museum offering leather goods, LED lighting, Pin striping, tattoos by Doby, jewelry, food, beer, and so much more! Saturday there will be live local bands! July 8 - Fridays Farm Fresh Market - The Outlet Shoppes at Gettysburg, 1863 Gettysburg Village Dr Gettysburg, PA 17325. July 8 - 9 - Battlefield Tours by Motorcycle! - American Civil War Museum, 297 Steinwher Ave., Gettysburg, PA 17325, 717-334-6245. See the battlefield like you’ve never seen before. Bring your bike and join us on July 8th or 9th for a 2-hour tour with a Licensed Battlefield Guide. The cost for the 2-hour tour is $10 per person.
